👩‍🚀Send, Receive, Go!

Probably the simplest Lightning experience out there. You can't get lost with two buttons: "Send" and "Receive". Do you need them for your sats? Take your node on the Go!

Connect a Wallet

Alby Go acts as a wallet interface to

Alby Go connects to the nodes of Lightning Network that use NWC service. The connection is estabilished by sharing a connection secret from the node/wallet with the Alby Go app, either in the form of a QR code or a string (nostr+walletconnect://.....)

Go to Settings -> Wallets -> Connect a Wallet, give this connection a custom name and scan a QR code or paste the NWC Connection Secret to link Alby Go with NWC enabled wallet.

Alby Go can be connected to multiple wallets, between which users have freedom to switch.

Send

To receive Bitcoin Lightning with Alby Go ➡️ Click on big yellow SEND button.

Users can scan QR codes with Lightning invoices or addresses, input them manually or paste from the clipboard. Alby Go also features a Contact Book, where Lightning Addresses of other users can be saved

Receive

To receive Bitcoin Lightning with Alby Go ➡️ Click on big yellow RECEIVE button.

When Alby Go is connected properly to NWC enabled wallet, it is able to generate lightning invoices with custom amounts. Alby Go also displays Lightning Address, to which lightning bitcoin can be sent.

Both QR codes and text strings are provided for other users to use to proceed with a payment.

You can customize Lightning Address displayed on RECEIVE screen in SETTINGS

Go!

Take your Lightning sats on the go, and use your node wherever you are. Alby Go is lightweight app that doesn't require much effort, bandwidth or fuzz.
