Can I open a channel to Alby's Lightning Node?
Yes, you can open channels to Alby's lightning node. The minimum channel size is 0.5 BTC. This is to make sure that startup times of the node are short.
We are open to establishing new channels if we notice a significant number of failed payments directed towards a specific node or observe a substantial flow of liquidity in one direction. Generally, the Lightning Network has greatly enhanced its routing capacity overall. However, to optimize the maintenance of our lightning node, we have to limit the number of lightning channels.
