How to connect to BTCPay Server

To be able to receive payments you need to configure a wallet. There are several options available.
Your Alby Account with its integrated wallet is one of these options. It is convenient to use, because you do not have to care about node and liquidity management. It works out of the box. BUT it is custodial.
Let's have a look how you can connect your Alby Account to your BTCPay Server:
Warm-up step 1: Register an account on the demo app or on an hosted BTCPay Server instance.
Warm-up step 2: Create a store

Now we are ready to configure a wallet in your BTCPay Server, so that you can start receiving payments.
Step 1: Click on 'Set up a Lightning node' or on 'Lightning'
Step 2: Insert your LNDhub credentials and click on 'Test connection'. You'll find them:
in the Alby Browser Extension: Select 'Account Settings' and click on 'Export'.
in your dashboard on getalby.com: Go to the 'Wallet' page and scroll to 'Wallet Connection Credentials'.
Congrats. You successfully connected your Alby Account. ð
Click on 'Save' and you are done
Now you are ready to receive donations or sell goods and services for bitcoin.
