# How can I change my unlock password?

On the "Settings" page of your Alby Hub, you'll find the item "Unlock Password". Click on it to enter your current and new unlock password. Your node will be stopped as part of this process.

Warning: Do not lose yout unlock password. It is not recoverable. You will lose access to your Alby Hub if you lose this password. Keep it safe.
