# Using AI to Install Your Hub

We’ve recently discovered that many users rely on AI tools to guide them through Alby Hub installations. While AI can be helpful, we’ve also seen it lead to serious issues when users follow incorrect or incomplete instructions. Please make sure you understand the risks before getting started.

Installing Alby Hub using AI-generated instructions can easily result in mistakes such as incorrect configurations, missing dependencies, or even loss of funds. AI tools may misunderstand your setup, skip critical security steps, or suggest commands that are not suitable for your device. These issues are not always reversible.

**You risk losing funds if you use AI to install your Hub.**

If you choose to install Alby Hub using AI-generated instructions instead of our official guides, you do so at your own risk. To keep your Hub secure and functioning properly, we strongly recommend following our [official guides](https://guides.getalby.com/user-guide/alby-hub), [contacting our support team](https://getalby.com/help), or [joining an onboarding session](https://cal.com/getalby) before attempting any custom setup. This will help you avoid costly mistakes, ensure everything is configured correctly, and give you access to full support if needed.

It’s fine to use AI for help only *after* you’ve read our guides, reached out to us, or joined an onboarding session—and only if you can provide the correct context. Even then, keep in mind that AI generates the most probable answer, which is not always the correct one—especially in the context of Bitcoin and the Lightning Network. Proceed with extreme caution when using AI in this space.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guides.getalby.com/user-guide/alby-hub/alby-hub-flavors/using-ai-to-install-your-hub.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
