# How to install the plugin

**Step 1**: Go to <https://wordpress.org/plugins/> and search 'Bitcoin Lightning Publisher'. Alternatively, find it under [this link](https://wordpress.org/plugins/bitcoin-lightning-publisher/).

**Step 2:** Download the Plugin to your computer.

**Step 3:** Log in to your WordPress dashboard, on the menu at the left-hand side, click 'Plugins' and then 'Add New'

**Step 4:** At the top click on 'Upload Plugin' then browse your computer for the file you downloaded in Step 1.

**Step 5:** Once you have selected the file, you should see it at the side of the browser tab, click 'Install Now'

**Step 6:** Simply activate the plugin after downloading.

**Step 7:**  Your Bitcoin Lightning publisher is now ready to use 🎉You can see the LN publisher tab on your menu as shown below. In the next guide, we show you how to connect your lightning wallet.
